This screening is for women who are starting to notice changes and wondering if they might be entering perimenopause or menopause — even if their periods haven’t stopped. It can be especially helpful if you:
Hormonal shifts in midlife don’t always show up in obvious ways. This screening helps you make sense of what’s going on, and take action with care that’s tailored to your body.
If you’re in your late 30s to 50s and have been feeling “off” — even if your periods are still regular — it may be worth checking in.
Most women reach menopause around age 49, but the hormonal fluctuations that lead up to it can begin much earlier. This transition phase, called perimenopause, can last anywhere from 2 to 8 years. During this time, your estrogen and progesterone levels don’t just gradually decline — they rise and fall unpredictably. And that’s what often causes the symptoms women notice first.
These shifts can affect your body and mind in subtle but very real ways.
You might find that your sleep becomes lighter or more interrupted, or that you’re more easily irritated or anxious, even if nothing’s changed in your life. Dry skin, joint aches, or weight gain around the belly can show up, even with the same routine. Some women experience more frequent UTIs or changes in libido. Others notice mood swings or feel like they’re not quite themselves, and often, no one links it back to hormones.
Because these changes often happen gradually — and start while periods are still regular — it’s easy to brush them off or attribute them to stress, aging, or lifestyle.
That’s where a consultation can help. We walk through what you’ve been experiencing and help determine whether these changes could be hormonal. If needed, we’ll also guide you on whether testing is appropriate, and what options might help you feel more like yourself again.
On the Peri-Menopause / Menopause Screening
This screening is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of your hormonal health as you approach menopause. By analysing key hormones, we can help you identify signs of menopause and guide you towards informed decisions about managing your symptoms and overall health.
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH): Measures the level of FSH, which tends to rise as ovarian function declines, indicating the onset of menopause.
Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH): Provides an estimate of ovarian reserve. AMH levels gradually decline as you approach menopause, offering insight into your reproductive timeline and stage of transition.
Estradiol (E2): Assesses estrogen levels, which typically decrease as menopause approaches, providing insight into your hormonal status.
Note: Menopause isn’t diagnosed through a single blood test. Your results will be interpreted alongside your symptoms, menstrual patterns, and life stage for a clearer picture.
On the Holistic Midlife Screening
This screening is for women who’ve reached menopause and want to stay on top of their long-term health. Estrogen protects many parts of the body—not just your reproductive system. When it drops after menopause, it can affect your heart, brain, and bones. This screening looks at important health markers that show how your body is adjusting, so you can take early steps to stay well.
Apolipoprotein A & B, and hsCRP: These markers help assess your heart health. Estrogen helps protect the heart, so changes in these levels can show if your heart is under more strain after menopause.
Homocysteine: This marker is linked to both heart and brain health. When estrogen levels drop, high homocysteine can affect blood flow to the brain and heart, and may impact mood and memory.
Vitamin D: After menopause, it becomes even more important to ensure your Vitamin D levels are sufficient, as estrogen loss affects how your body handles calcium. Low Vitamin D is common in older women and can make it harder to maintain strong, healthy bones.
No, simply turn up! There is no need to fast. We will interpret your results based on where you are in your menstrual cycle.
Some companies now offer coverage for menopause-related care, and Hey Taylor is in-network with several employer benefits providers. If you have specific symptoms, it may also be possible to claim insurance for certain tests or consultations.
We recommend checking with your HR team to understand your coverage. You can also loop us in at support@hey-taylor.com — let us know which insurer or benefits provider your company uses, and we’ll help guide you from there.
Yes. Hey Taylor is licensed by Singapore’s Ministry of Health to provide these clinical services. All tests are conducted by certified phlebotomists from accredited diagnostic laboratories, following the same clinical protocols and safety standards as any regulated healthcare facility.
Your results can be reviewed either online or in person at our women’s health clinic in the CBD. Our team of women's health doctors are available to walk you through your results, answer questions, and provide personalised follow-up care if needed. This may include prescriptions for supplements or hormonal therapy (e.g. HRT or MRT), based on your symptoms and lab findings.
Every stage of a woman’s life brings with it another dimension to uncover about her identity and biology. As her needs change, her healthcare journey starts again, closing one chapter and opening the next. Each chapter requires moving across clinics and hospitals, sharing and baring herself to different providers, with little clarity or control.
It’s time to look at her story as a continuous one - one that connects and embraces her life stages, that cares for her health and wellbeing beyond a visit, that looks after her needs first, and one in which her healthcare is not difficult or fragmented. As a healthcare provider designed by women for women, Taylor brings to her story ease, seamlessness and empowerment.
The most logical type of healthcare for her is what she deserves all along - an integrated healthcare provider that cares for her with empathy and holistically, through her life’s transitions, for life.
Healthcare for her is simply as it should be.
