What happens after you book

After completing your booking, you will receive a link for appointment scheduling and a brief fertility questionnaire.

The process will then be as follows:

Step 01: Visit the centre for your test at your chosen time slot.
Step 02: Receive your test report within 5 working days.
Step 03: Discuss your results with our doctor over a video consultation.

This screening is tailored for women experiencing irregular periods (cycles shorter than 24 days or longer than 35 days) and want to understand the possible reasons. It helps identify whether your irregular cycles could be linked to conditions like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, or natural transitions such as peri-menopause.

Understanding your reproductive health starts here—there is no need to wait for your period to begin, so you can get started anytime. The tests included are designed to uncover key causes of irregular periods:

• Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH): Assess ovarian reserve and identify conditions like Primary Ovarian Insufficiency, where the ovaries age faster than expected, or natural transitions such as peri-menopause, which can also cause irregular cycles.
• Testosterone: Checks for elevated male hormones, a common characteristic of PCOS, which remains undiagnosed in up to 70% of cases.
• Thyroid Function Tests (TSH and Free T4): Detects thyroid imbalances that can disrupt menstrual cycles.
• Prolactin: Rules out other potential causes of irregular periods.

Note: Depending on your test results, this screening may be followed by an ultrasound scan and additional investigations.

Preparation for Test‍

• No food and drinks for at least 8 hours before your test.
• To be tested on Day 2-5 of your menstrual cycle (the first day of your period is Day 1).
• If you haven't had your periods in 3 months or more, please reach out to us!‍

Kindly note that appointments for purchased health services online must be scheduled and fulfilled within three (3) months from the date of purchase. Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund. Taylor reserves the right to update the information or fees associated with this service without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept any cancellations / refunds except in the following scenarios:

• The patient is medically unable to complete the service.    
• System errors resulting in duplicated orders or order errors.    
• Taylor is unable to provide the service purchased.        
• Any cancellation request must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase and at least 3 days prior to the appointment date.    
• Except in special cases, there would be no cancellations / refunds as long as the service has started.
• Please note that Taylor does not allow for any cancellations due to change of mind. We seek your understanding for this.
